According to The Concise Planetary Ephemeris for 1950 to 2000 A.D.
(ISBN#0-915820-02-1, published by the Hieratic Publishing Co)
, August 11th 1999 is the date of the New Moon for that month and the time given is 11.10 AM (GMT?)

Unless I am mistaken, it is conceivable that the eclipse will occur on the 10th/11th. But I have also read somewhere (sorry, I cannot now recall the source) that the eclipse will occur some time in the first week of August 1999.

Sollog, the modern-day Nostradamus, has predicted on his website,
whatshotin.com, that bigtime trouble for lots of folks, in particular the US Government, will erupt in Miami and Washington, DC, come March 30/31, 1999 (this Full Moon!!! called is dubbed 'Blue Moon'!!!). He also predicted that lots of aircraft will be destroyed.
