Peoplesoft and Siebel should merge. Maybe get i2 to join in to fight SAP.

While Siebel has revenue of 1/4 PSFT, it has bigger market cap now. It could almost do an Worldcom-MCI merger whereby you use the highly priced Siebel stock to buy cheap PSFT at a premium. While Siebel stock would suffer short term, this could be a great long term partnership. If only PSFT and SEBL had tried this in 1998, when PSFT had a better currency to play with (high priced stock).

PSFT at mkt cap of 4 bln and rev of 1.5 bln, this stock, despite all the negative news and recent departures, is too cheap.

If it sunk any lower, it would easily get takeover bids.
