Skeeter, I really respect what you have pointed out to us novices on this thread for a long time. I have made money both long and short on MU and will continue to play it both ways.

It just seems to me that you are being a little too harsh re: Brook's view in your last note. I can't disagree with your fundamental view that spending a dollar to earn ten cents is not a great return - but, it is a profit to work from.

I don't see that retail memory prices are tanking and if anything it looks like "more is better" is back in style. Baseline systems, around $1000 are generally shipping with 64MB and going to 128MB is usually just a couple of hundred bucks more. (At the retail level of course) Just check out Dell's website for their memory upgrade options.

I agree that this thread has become rather lopsidedly bearish, almost to the point that this becomes a real contrarian indicator. All this bearishness discounts any discontinuities, to the upside, that could occur in the market. Bears may keep winning awhile longer, but if Intel's earnings look good, watch out.
