Interesting take on cultural sub-currents in Europe. I appreciate it.

As for the US, racism and prejudice will always exist so long as people decide to take the easy path in defining themselves and fellow man, rather than looking at the worth each of us possesses, especially if we try to seek excuses for our failures to accomplish what we think is our right.

But I do think we're reaching the point where we can laugh at ourselves and our ignorant prejudices in the majority, even while the minority find their extremely racist or purist positions marginalized by reality. And this predjudice resides in all races, not merely whites.
