The BIG 5, Note I added a column after volume >> Shrs & it is also
equal to the amount of $ that stock will change the index per
$1 move in the stock, ( does not apply to indexes I often have
.0001 as being owned just to see % change )
Note the total gain is from Feb 19th , however the entire bunch
had a weight adjustment March 19th which I have just caught up.

Note 26th BIG 5 fell -1.19, while the top 20 averaged -0.94%
the next one are what I call the Tail 80, and they fell -0.49
So the head is down, but not strong however it says more
down side. Signals have been very mixed lately. Telcoms
doing the best.

Note from Feb 19th the Big 5 are up 7.54%, the Top 20 are
up 9.39% but the tail is up only 3.99% , this is very mixed
the Big five normally out does the top 20 if the trend up is
strong. It looks toppy but with such mixed signals I tend to
want to look outside the index at other factors such as interest
rates, and such.

Normally I don't track the tail 80 as keeping up with all the
splits is a pain. I use the Big 5 and 20, then just deduce the
80 by looking at the NDX index which is up 7.03% in that time
frame, so it's still slightly positive but sort of toppy looking.

This is called the NDX "adjusted" ,. taht should be enhanced as in adjusting the weight you can see that more weight
is given to the ones that went up , and taken away from the ones
that fell and that tends to enhance the index over what it would
be if you don't re-adjust.
This weighting should be good till mid June.
