i agree if it was not for sales expense
for the company to take clients out to,i would
never personally spend money on sports again...
in the next 5 years,i think that the stadium should
just put the company logo on every seat,this way it will be easier for clients to find contacts
while at the game...
randy johnson trade had nothing to do with money though....
he was no different than nolan ryan when the mets let him go...
he was all over the place...
canadians spent the money,but the team started falling apart
after the roy trade....they had the talent,you guys just started
pulling a bruins act and said let's rebuild....the last 2 trades
hurt as fans because they took the identity of the team away from the
fans....
do not worry,i know all about that i had 7 all-stars from my team
wearing different uniforms at last years all star game
(sheffield,brown,leiter,white,alou,nen,johnson)
we drew over 40,000 a night during the stretch run the year we
won it,and just like the braves in 91,fans start coming when you
put a team on the field..and we never got a chance to defend it..
it is not just the players,it is the owners too.....pete rozelle would
be crying if he saw what was going on..owners use to use sports as a
tax write off and just for a hobby,now they want to rake in millions too....art modell,wayne hpinga,finley, are an embarrassment to sports..i was in new york and saw a modell sporting goods and actually walked into the store to ask the manager if this was the only job he could get that he had to work for the biggest,greediest asshole you could ever meet....how would you have like to of been a cleveland browns fan..
i know the people of pittsburgh wish they had some money...sorry steeler fans,but joe robbie was such a tight wad that he destroyed
what could have been with the dolphins for many years, and the rooney
family is no different...good people,buy very stingy in there pockets..pirate fans- could have been..real good team....
