Sam: That post was written by a pea-brained nitwit! As I understand it Checkfree never, never, never pays bills from "its" account, only from yours. That guy is an ignorant, bombastic and dangerously uninformed person. Either that, or I am. (A possibility I am willing to admit -- but believe to be very unlikely. At least the ignorant part.

I was at a chfr presentation about EBPP and if my memory serves me correctly, chfr does pay bills out of its account. Multi-step process (ckfr to biller, payor to ckfr). If the check bounces, then there is (biller to ckfr) and the biller has to collect on its own...

I could be wrong, does anyone know for sure?
