Just received the annual report. Here's the first sentence of paragraph 3 of the Chairman's Letter to Shareholders: "We believe Aspect is now one of the world's leading companies devoted to supplying call center products and services." What do the words "we believe" do for the statement? Lawyer gray at its best. Sure, a minor detail but characteristic of the way they have been approaching life.
