John: Funds do not like to show their clients they have "Out of the Money" Losers. Where possible,Funds try to eliminate those using a: Swapping i.e both funds have Losers (different stocks) b: Selling to a sister Fund to reduce Capital gains. Funds are more short term oriented than imagined. That is why they publish daily values and quarterly reports.
