Hey Robert,

I have the VIX plotted on my SuperCharts worksheet with my holding and other indicators. I noticed that the volatility is more common prior to the expiration dates. And, I have read several articles that indicate that market patterns are no accident. The patterns are trade rules that market makers follow. Computer buy/sell programs are much more common today. All the major player use them. Thus, the patterns are redefined every once in a while. Those same patterns can and are learned by the more astute investors. So, my statement of Rock n Roll is my way of saying it was a wip saw action. It use to make me uptight. Now, I just try to use it to my advantage while maintaining RESPECT of those forces.
