I think Milosovic represents NO threat to any European or NATO country. He isn't stupid -- cruel, vicious, yes, but not stupid. He knows full well that attacking a NATO country would bring a full scale war he would lose. He has no nuclear weapons, no cruise missiles, no major bombers -- what is going to attack Italy, or France, or Switzerland, or Hungary with??? And for what objective? If we didn't have reporters in Yugoslavia reporting the news of the massacres and sending us vivid pictures, Yugoslavia and the KLA could fight for decades without any impact on Europe or NATO.

Just what kind of threat to what NATO countries do you think Yugoslavia really represents?

BTW, something not brought up here so far -- does anybody know what the environmental costs of all the munitions we are pouring into Yugoslavia is? These are not benign toys! The prevailing winds in that area are Westerly and Northerly -- all this stuff will wind up in Italy, Austria, etc. (Remember Chernobyle and how it had a substantial effect on air quality in Sweden??) What chemical residue are we pouring into the air of Europe??
