I am shorting Uniphase on Monday. I was watching the news (CNBC) and I saw a speech by Al Gore. Most of the press missed this speech apparantly. It seems that Mr. Gore is the investor of DWDM. I understand he has retained legal counsel in order to punish those who have illegally stolen his invention. I don't know how this affect JDS Fitel since it is a Canadian firm, but often technology like this is protected in many nations.
