I did indeed start a class assignment. Somehow, I stumbled onto this IMOT stock (I believe it was through the Daniel Miller, 15 year old whiz kid stockpicker website). I sought out message boards such as this one and Raging Bull. At that time, the news was all good. So I watched it for a few days and bought 400 shares (It was no fun tracking the stock and reading the boards with nothing at stake). Next thing you know, IMOT ventured into $10 territory (12 Mar 99). All at once, major bashing commenced. The stock headed south starting Monday 15 March. Of course, I was disappointed, to say the least, and posted a few messages "lashing out" at the doomsday crowd. I have learned much more from listening than I ever did by talking. So, I decided to check out the dooms day crowd's allegations. My 26 March post is what I found, or didn't find.
So, in the final analysis, I will wait for that 1 piece of hard evidence that IMOT is for real. News coming from IBC or Buchanan Consulting, Inc. isn't conclusive enough for me.
Hey, I'm not a scammer or a shorter! I'd love to believe in IMOT. But, I think I'll go to "Plan B" and do my paper on Venator Corp. a downtrodden Dow 30 has been out of favor. The IMOT story is just too bizarre. Good luck to you all, I wish you well....... |
