purchase accounting means that IBM will have to put goodwill on its balance sheet of (purchase price - PSFT book value)

the purchase price that most bulls are counting on is a lot higher than here (o/w why would they be counting on it?), probably somewhere around $30, ensuring many billions of goodwill getting eaten by IBM
