I do believe that you have no position in VLNC, since you are actually giving reasons for your opinions and offering support for them. This unfortunately allows facts to be presented and discussed. Your point about the automobile manufacturers consortium is a valid one, but do you remember when GM's Delco division "broke off talks with the U.S. Advanced Battery Consortium... and will instead join VLNC to develop an ambient-temperature, lithium-polymer battery for electric cars" and they went on to say "Delco and VLNC own the key patents and proprietary information that make the battery feasible"? Dated, but still accurate today. Delco is now Delphi Automotive Systems. Now why do you think Delphi did that? The research phase was completed and announced on 5/18/98. Delphi is now "targeting production of lithium polymer batteries for hybrid electric vehicles by the year 2000", which, of course, use VLNC's technology. As far as maintaining their competitive edge, what do you think the 400+ patents are for? And I told you, the contracts are with the lawyers, and haven't made it to Lev's desk <G>.
