Hey Doug..... if you want to use a quote, don't take it out of
the full context.

Just for everyones benefit, here is the full quote, INCLUDING
the sentence before the one Doug chose and edited. Note that
eBAY states themselves that they are interested in expansion
and to do so THEY MAY ACQUIRE ANOTHER COMPANY. Here is the FULL
sentence from their filing:

"The Company may also use a portion of the net proceeds, currently
intended for general corporate purposes, to acquire or invest in
businesses, technologies, products or services that are complementary
to the Company's business. The Company has no present plans or
commitments and is not currently engaged in any negotiations with
respect to such transactions that are material."

Again, if anyone is interested in reading the full document that
eBay filed with the SEC, here it is:
sec.gov

Now this does not mean that they are talking to Bid.Com, in fact, I
hope not (at least not yet). I would rather see them on the NASDAQ
National Market for a while!!

Doug.... Why do you always try to slant things your way?

Barry
