Sadly Credit Swiss/First Boston represents the old old line of houses - the boys in the grey suits and (choke) the tassel loafers. Cabi has labored in the vinyard for their client Ericy using every means available to him. Just because he will be proved completely wrong is irrelevant. To think that this has all been just his own personal doing is naive IMO. He has been well paid for the job he has done. Nothing ever will be proved and he will not suffer in any way whatsoever - neither will Credit Swiss/First Boston. All just IMO based on years of observation of bank/brokerage practice. A sell side analyst has one client - his employer. JP Morgan said it best "The public be damned". Chaz
