Be very Cautious
I dont own the stock nor plan to purchase it. I also have no intention of discouraging anyone from buying SJET.
I came to know the company when a good friend of mine wanted to give me a stock tip. He has purchased about 1000 shares when it traded around 10.
When I look at the graph, my eyes pop out.
I am a daytrader and during the course of each day in the last two weeks looked at the activity in the stock.
Float is supposedly 1 million but look at the daily volume.
In addition, look at the spread. I have seen a bid of 15 and ask of 23 (I think it was on 3/23/99)
What good does it do that the last trade was $$$ when there are no buyers.
I hear news about split and Nasdaq listing. I look at the sales volume and know that Nasdaq listing is just a story. As far as the split, what difference does it really make when the daily average is less than what some of you own out there.
At any rate, wish you the best of luck if you own it and suggest you do your homework if you plan to buy it.
take care,
