My trades just do not, simply DO NOT execute when the market is in my favour, even if I offer more than the ask ! Waited for 20 minutes a few days back, waited for 10 minutes on Friday. Both times I cancelled the trade in disgust after about 10 minutes. THEN the trade was executed - more than 10 minutes AFTER cancellation - both times the market tanked at the precise moment when my trade was executed.

If it was big amount of money I would definitely litigate. Fortunately, I have'nt moved much of my portfolio to Schwab. I'm closing the account within the next few weeks it takes to complete formalities elsewhere.......then this guy tried to explain to me how to cancel the trade, sent me a loooong email explaining the way a cancellation has to be put in - no refence to the problems in execution at all ! After that another guy tried to scare me by saying it would take 6 weeks to transfer securities and that would be a big risk in the market conditions LOL - I just laughed and said - I am so fed up, I'll just sell and take my money elsewhere !

I figure if one has to deal with dishonest brokers, why pay >$70 per trade ? What's wrong with paying $5 and getting the similar lousy service (hoping for better of course) elsewhere ?
