This war that NATO has entered into is still a conflict with defined borders and immediate goals. The Albanion people are being killed in a manner which I for one have a difficult time accepting. Somewhere along the the line, NATO was going to have to cross swords with the forces led by Yugoslav President Slobodan Milosevic which are inflicting a hateful tragic episode in history.

As many have pointed out here tonight, it's when the rest of the world powers begin to choose sides and enter the conflict, our worry's will really begin. But till then we should all hope that the NATO forces do bring a swift end to the injustices and attrocities happening in Kosovo.

My son asked me tonight what the saying, "you have to start a fire to put out a fire" meant. I told him about the practice of doing controlled burns in front of a forest fire to remove the fuel that a fire needs to survive. You always hope that change in the wind does not happen at the wrong time....
