You could have driver conflicts. I have a Dell 450 and had problems the first week I had it. Once I loaded all my goodies on it (software and hardware)

One of the problems was I would have 4 Netscape windows open and get all sorts of errors. Low mem warnings, gray screens, beeps from the keyboard, etc.
