Michael F. Morrell, Chairman and CEO of Medical Industries of America, stated, "The merger of Air Response Inc with our Global Air companies will provide for operating efficiencies and cost reductions and continue our objective to have the number one international air ambulance company." The combined company will generate approximately US$20 million in revenue in 1999 and is expected to earn a profit in excess of US$1 million before taxes in 1999.
