Huge wishful thinking for Monday morning -- (warning : this is based on zero real knowledge) -- if some company has been secretly "eyeing" Qualcomm as a possible acquisition candidate, then the fact that this whole Ericsson mess seems to have been resolved, and ... QCOM stock appears to be (at least for now) actually going up in price in a meaningful way, ... then Monday morning would sure be a great time for a "secret admirer" to announce some "M & A" overtures. I do not expect this. (And, as someone who plans to actually hold on to Qualcomm stock for a long time, I guess I hope this does not happen). But, it is a possibility ... Jon.
