Whats the matter with this picture----US with NATO, attacks an independent nation. This is where WW I and WW II started. It can easily spill over into neighboring countries and history could repeat for a third time. What history books have you been reading?? The assassination of Ferdinand, that triggered WWI, merely gave the European powers a justification for fighting a war they had all been expecting and preparing for many years to fight. WWII?? Come on now... We all know how WWII began, both for Europe and for the US. Some even say it began with the Japanese invasion of Manchuria in the '30s. Kosovo and Yugoslavia is not the beginning of WWIII. But it certainly has been played out poorly, resorting to military means to achieve something that would have been been achieved by supporting an opposition force in Serbia and arming (or threatening to arm) the Ethnic Albanians in Kosovo.
