Hello Mohan:

I do not know what really happened or did not happen some 3500 to 5000 years ago. You and I read lots conflicting things, and decide to believe in some and not believe in another.

As far as DMK is concerned, I was going by what I recall of Indian scene some 30+ years ago. I will get Wolpert's book on Indian History and see what he has to say.
