Hi Mohan: I am one of the early customer of E-loan for a home refi. The rate was very competitive, the service was excellent. I did not have to go out of my house to complete the loan documents. Even the notary came to my house (traveling notary). My neighbors shopped around for a better rate and fees, finally decided on E-loan as well. I thought, what a concept because when I did a refi many years ago, I had to go to the office, got an interview, back to the office for signing escrow papers, etc. As you already know E-Trade has a partership with e-loan. Contrywide Funding, here comes e-loan to take some of your business away. BTW my previous loan was with Countrywide, and asked them to quote me a refi rate. E-loan beat them a mile. My guess is that if you have an account with E-trade, you might have a chance for e-loan IPO. Regards Paul
