RMiethe, First let me say thanks for your thoughtful contributions; I believe you said a few weeks ago (your post 5434) that you had little to offer: Your remarks of the last few days show you know a lot and have quite thoughtful opinions, so please continue to share them! Regarding Orion 1, I don't see how Asia effected it as it's over the Atlantic. Regarding the T6 and T7 delays, it has to be noted that those were due to problems internal to Loral (and its component suppliers) not launch vehicle failures or problems at Hughes. I agree with you that a lot (2-3 months) of the G* delay was due to the TSA as opposed to lack of a backup plan. As far as the Nov97 "overpromises" I guess the main question is whether the basic premise of the business plan is still intact; I can live with a six to twelve month delay versus the plan, if the rev's, EBITDA and eventually earnings start to ramp up at something close to the forecast rate. It seems like they should...in a few more quarters we will know. Regards, RS
