Bruce,
I responded to some of this on the IPJ thread. Right now, I
am opposed to the IPJ merger offer. With the results that are due
out I think Dayak would go much higher on its own. They are well
capitalized and really don't need anything from IPJ. Therefore,
when these positive results are released I expect Dayak will go a
lot higher and IPJ will be forced to up the ante. Bill burton told
me that Instutional investors approve of the merger as presented.
But I think he was just testing my reaction as he asked me my
opinion on the proposal. I told him that I would like to see the
Daayk drill results first. He agreed that would happen beforehand.
IPJ is going to get alot richer when they sell their Phillipine
property which is estimated to vend for 150 million. They have
incredible properties of their own with good showings so far. If
they merge at a higher price IPJ will go down in the short run.
Longer term it should be a major league home run. I only hope
their discovery is not too big because they may have to split it
with the Indo. gov't ala BXM. I'd rather have a somewhat smaller
find and see IPJ most if not all of it. Hope this helps ?
