I have both long puts and buy/writes in my ira. I can't short puts so have to do the buy/writes. I have bought large naked put positions in the account. I concur with the myth allocation to cash. by retirement accounts are in the mb fashion of 7.87% options income...92.13% 90/10 portfolio...0.00% capital appreciation now.
