Beef snot is surreal to the uninitiated. Every now&then I watch the bullriders on TNN - usually out of inertia 'cuz they're on after a mud race or the Budget Dragster Show or some such delight. I like to watch gallons of stuff thrown - apparently without discomfort to the bull - out of the bull's face. It forms great streamers and sheets in the air, and if some hits a rodeo clown, the poor fella is visibly nudged. There's a good gallon of it in an untwirled bull. They must have a special snot pouch full gallons of this Dan Aykroyd ectoplasm, and woe be the farmhand who misplaces that nose ring. Drowning could be imagined.
