-OT- Filled up for 95 cents a gallon (Houston). Filled up in Dallas this week for 1.05. I've seen an increase from a low of 0.75 gallon four weeks ago (Houston) to a high of 1.09 (Dallas).

Sure it hurts to pay more. I don't like it much but some of my fellow Petroleum Eng's are now going back to work. I've taken a position in Schlumberger and Halliburton. Given the present rate of depletion, $10/bbl crude could not last even if OPEC did nothing. It's ahead back to +$17/bbl, probably by the end of the month. This price did not hurt the markets last year or lead to inflation. I'll keep my AOL. It's safe.
