Jim:

Last Quarter you brought up the channel stuffing question. At that time asked you what the sales out model that compaq was using since last year. I never got an answer. The fact that sales out model means the inventories in the channel have not been counted as sales. You can stuff all the channel you want and it will show as inventory, not sales gives less incentives for anyone to stuff channel. It also is a great incentive for the company to help move the inventory.

I have not seen all the postings today. Did you post any evidence that the channel stuffing was actually going on?

Cheers
