Is it true that only MMs can buy on the TSE and sell on the Nasdaq? How do you think this will affect the price movement if at all? Will there be any supply /demand issues for US investors putting upward pressure on the stock? yes only MM's are allowed to act as arb's between exchanges. So lets deal with the more than hypothetical!! Godin has stated that he will issue no shares to list on the NASDAQ. He is meticulously registering all the existing shareholders rather than PP'ing into the US market. Therefore the US market will have little to no shares to work...so the US trader comes to Canada now and buys BII on the Canuck exchange...and when it comes time to trade on the US exchange, his shares will trade...not yours (assuming you are canuck). So imagine what will happen to BII on the NASDAQ they day it starts to trade with only about 5 million shares in US hands??? It will fly!! So how do US clients get BII shares before they get to NASDAQ...buy now on the Canuck exchange!!! So no matter how you look at it, either the US buying will drive the price on the Canuck market, then US buying on the US market will continue it!! Sorta like a "win-win"!!<gg> This is why I feel any set back in price in BII over the next two weeks will be a manipulated "4 nano-second" set back with a rally upwards as the US clients buy..so that they can have these shares at NASDAQ open!!
