Bill,

Context has some information on channel stuffing in Europe at its website. They have a sales in/ sales out tables for the major indirect vendors.

I have already done this, but if you want to convince yourself simply look at the day inventory in say Ingram, Techdata, CompUsa, and other parts of the channel. Then compute CPQ's days of inventory from their 10-K report. I have posted this information more than once.
I'm not going to do it again.

Channel stuffing has been a common practice for many year not just by CPQ but by all the companies. I think the seasonal falloff phenomenon in Q1 is in part due to the historic stuffing of the channel. The other part is probably the post holiday blahs.
This quarter you can add in the Pentium transitions.
