Raymond - Pls ask QCOM:s management if they will get close to 6 % from ERICY on the 3:rd generation systems.

Asked and answered on the Qualcomm telecon. 'The royalty rates will be the same for all flavors of CDMA, including CDMAOne.' And we know from leaks from Korea that the CDMAOne royalty rate is 5 or 6%. Why do you consider this outrageous? For someone with no IPR, the GSM royalty rate is in the teens. (Also not that Qualcomm made a comment to the effect that there were those who had expected the royalty rate for W-CDMA to be substantially lower than CDMAOne, but that was obviously not going to happen now.)

Clark

PS In all seriousness I would highly advise listening to the Qualcomm telecon if it is still available.
