Henry,

CMGI owns 60% of Lycos? CMGI has 14.7 million in debt and has 9.10 million shares o/s @ $15.50 (Feb 19th close) or $141 million mkt cap.

LCOS has 13.75 million shares @ $22.13 (Feb 19th close) or $305 million mkt cap.

CMGI's stake in LCOS is worth (60% of $305 million) or $183 million, less their debt of 14.7 million and arrive at $168.3 million/9.1 million shares of CMGI = $18.49 value.

So effectively (if you are right about the 60% ownership of LCOS) you can buy CMGI on the open market at $15.50, but in fact you are getting $18.49 worth of Lycos stock! Wow! A 19% profit without much risk!

I'll do some more digging....

CMGI insiders own 25% of the stock. That's a good sign.

Call the company 508-684-3600 (Massachusetts) and ask investor relations if this is true!

Regards,

Tim West
