As to your other bug question, it's bugging me too. Either they are not tweaking code in native x2 modems, or native x2 modems will not be in the stores this weekend. They could not produce, package, consolidate and ship the product fast enough to get delivery in the specified time frame.

It is possible, even likely, that they are tweaking the code, and have held up distribution at key points in the channel. In that case, buyers of the native x2 modems may have to download a free flash update to incorporate any tweaks. It would not surprise me if it has something to do with the MOT v.34 suit, but we will probably never know if it is. It's also possible that they've found a way to put the screws to the consortium's plan, and wanted to get it in and file for a patent. Wouldn't that be special?
