If Intel's architecture is already "all-pervasive" there shouldn't be much market left to capture, should there, so what's the fuss? And how is Sun's technology any more "proprietary" than Intel's? As QwikSand points out, this is just Intel fluff.

Competition between Wintel and Sun is nothing new, and Sun's been doing quite nicely in the face of it.

I'm a former Intel shareholder myself, but I think right now I'd rather be in Sun. Let TI run the fabs; they're good at it.
