Sorry I wasn't more specific. The certificate that my Grandmother gave me looks like a State certificate. It is called the Elk Creek-Spanish Town Mine from the state of Idaho. She contacted the state mines inspector in 1940 who says that the charter for Spanish Town mine was forfeited in 1931, however the certificate is for 1937 after Elk Creek and Spanish Town combined. I check with the library and state mines data base. Also found link for obsolete mines at goldsheet.simplenet.com. I just wanted to avoid paying someone to tell me it is worthless. The mystery continues........
