Good evening to the qcom thread. The recent news about your company has been exciting to those of us considering an investment in Qualcomm. We've been discussing the merits of the cdma as an enabling technology on the Gorilla and King Portfolio Candidate thread, but are looking for more technical insights. We are under the impression that tdma is an earlier generation compression system used in digital cellular transmissions, and cdma is a radical improvement, more than doubling the number of calls a cell can handle simultaneously. We are not clear on cdma's strengths versus gsm or if there are any new approaches looming on the horizon, and would appreciate any comments or links to previously published information. Frank
