Glad I found this thread.

The refugee situation is, I fear, much more complicated and portends more disaster than first appears. I haven't been able to watch as much news as I'd like, but it appears tonight that the refugees are now pretty united in heading to Albania, whereas earlier the exodus was to FYROM/Macedonia. I felt potential explosive problems there, and the danger of Greece pulling even further back (or moving closer in as a Serbian envoy asking for halts to the bombing) was increased by thousands of Albanian refugees being at the border to Greek Macedonia. For those not familiar with the area, the people of FYROM and Greek Macedonia feel no love for each other.

BUT - there are not the resources in Albania to take care of this number of refugees. Really, I don't see that they have a viable place to run to, and this is going to escalate world concern.

I have no answers, just nagging worries. If Greece gets more vocal, is Turkey far behind? Is Montenegro next? This all looks pretty bad. And all the while, we're slowly lessening our objections to ground troops.
