Some info. that was found on the terralak.com site where bakery sales
on the internet are being sent. My guess is that Dana is taking care
of all internet sales of the bakery items at this nice place.

DENISON DENIZENS SHARE THEIR SPACE
.. A brand new B&B operations called Terralak is within the Tanglewood Resort, barely 15 minutes west of Denison and U.S. Highway 75 by way of tiny Pottsboro.

Rising three stories on 13 wooded acres, this contemporary structure provides wonderful views of Texoma, nice accommodations for up to 14 people and access to all sorts of activities - from on the premises volleyball and horseshoes to nearby golf, horseback riding and of course, fishing.  Loe's Highport marina is highly visible from the sun room and terraces.

Terralak was acquired in 1993 by Dana C. Verrill of Dallas so that his three daughters Lindsey, Ashley and Kristen, would have a place to bring friends and enjoy the lake.   They are now ready to share this joy.  The name was created from "terra" - the land - and the first letter in each of his daughter's names.

The new B&B operation is a joint venture with Kathy Bachand, who serves as innkeeper.

The house, renovated by Mr. Verrill at the time of purchase, nestles against the hillside and is attractively furnished in a Western and American Indian motif.  Entry is on the second level, where a large living area opens onto the sun room, a full kitchen, which guests are free to use, adjoins ( A buffet breakfast features a western omelet of French toast.)  On the same level is one of the five guest rooms.

Downstairs are the girl's three bedrooms, two of them with bunk bed and shared bath; the third has its own bath.  Closet walls are filled with signatures and drawings-politically correct graffiti? - inscribed by their young friends.  This downstairs area is well suited for family groups.

The splendid master suite is on the third level and has an adjoining large bath with an oversize Jacuzzi too.  A circular staircase leads even higher to a sky room, with window views in all four directions.

Among other ways to pass the time on the property are tetherball, a trampoline, hammocks, paths down to the lake and a gas grill for outdoor cooking.  For those who don't want to cook, several nearby restaurants serve catfish, steaks, Mexican fare, pizza and more.  The Point Restaurant & Club at Grandpappy Point Marina is popular for Sunday brunch.
