Dave; So much has been said on this thread about growth resulting from viewer excitement, increasing the number of viewers and company value that I have to air a thought FWIW.

One of the most interesting and exciting programs I have seen lately is the "Frontiers of Medicine" show on TV (PBS). They now have a web site frontiersofmedicine.com which they seem to use only for selling video tapes of their show. It is a documentary style show.

If you could capture their broadcast in a specialized way to suit the characteristics of TV on the Web, I think you could have an enormous success on your hands. They already have a filmed production. Perhaps using that material might enable you to produce the internet show easier or cheaper.

One of the great virtues of TV on the Web when compared to TV, is program accessability. With TV, if you don't have your vcr on you can't review what you just heard unless you purchase the tape. With internet shows, just replay the show.

It looks like their sponsor is the Medtronic Foundation. Maybe they would be interested in expanding the show to the internet.
