I'm sure there are people who made money taking blind chances one way or the other, but I don't personally know any of them. Hmmmm...you may know one;-) Everyone I know who made money in Amazon (and I know several) did his homework, listened objectively to expert advice, got the picture, took a premeditated risk and is sweating it out...all from the long side. Expert advice? From where?
