Ridiculous<< It looks stupid on the surface to "go to cash", but all of my stocks are in tax deferred vehicle and taxes at this time are not a consideration. Its a way to keep piece with my very conservative (moneywise) spouse, not the way I prefer to invest. You run the very real risk of buying back in a higher prices. So far in this market I haven't lost out on any plays doing this....it has actually added to the return. Just have to be calm and not do any panic buying. BTW if I started to buy on margin, he'd be out the door! LOL
