SJS - I know little about QWST, except that it *slammed* me recently. So, maybe it is a great company, and maybe my reaction is biased. So if I so happen to step on you inadvertently, my apology. I don't follow NSCP either, except it is join to the hip with AOL. Regarding QWST deal list, one of the reasons is getting larger is b/c it is aggressive - and being aggressive means it may sacrifice *margin*. In truth, there is no sacrifice really, if it has [excess] capacities.
I ve said my peace regarding SB. The most definitive response is: agreeing with you[r fluff comment,] I don't know. However, the frontend [dare I say, portal?] has its price. If SB can provide the technologies, the backend can switch to another of the other backbone providers, even outfits like PSIX, so long as they deliver IP telephony.
