ISSI Announces 9ns Asynchronous SRAM
Market's Fastest 3-Mbit Asynchronous 128k x 24 SRAM Perfect Fit With Popular DSPs
SANTA CLARA, Calif., March 29 /PRNewswire/ -- Integrated Silicon Solution, Inc. (Nasdaq: ISSI - news) today announced the IS61LV12824, a 9ns 128K x 24 asynchronous SRAM designed using 0.25 micron 4T cell technology. The 3-Mbit device is designed to provide a high performance, 24 bit wide, memory solution for applications using DSPs from Motorola, Lucent, or Analog Devices. The device operates from a 3.3V power supply and is ideal for telecommunications and networking equipment.

Features, Price and Availability
The IS61LV12824 device fits into an existing single package, replacing multiple device options. It features access times of 9, 10, 12, and 15ns and is available in the 100-pin TQFP and 119-ball BGA packages. These packages are ideal for applications that require low profile surface mount components. This device also operates over the industrial temperature range.
Priced between $20-$25 in quantities of 1000, samples of the device are available now. Volume production is available June 1999.
