A colleague of mine was at e.spire last week for a meeting regarding a computer services contract that had been put on hold 5 months ago but was revived last week. The deal was all but dead in Oct. and now it looks like it'll happen soon. Although the folks at e.spire were tight lipped about any merger talks their apparently improved financial situation might lead one to believe that something was in the works.
