I'm still evaluating options, whether corporation, llc, or lp. I have a lawyer, and am still in the investigative phase.

The Buffettology chapter is very very light on info. LP's require more regulation than the chapter implies. My lawyer is thinking it could be nearly as expensive as a corporation to keep up. An LLC doesn't have as easy a division between types of individuals involved. There's no general partner/limited partners split. All LLC investors are members, although you can write an agreement for the management of the company.

I'm not looking for specific info here now. Just wanted to create a board of like-minded individuals in case issues came up.
