There was nothing out of bounds in what you said, in fact it was quite dignified and articulate. Even your reproof of Schuh for not acknowledging the problem was measured. Schuh would say that it is obviously going overboard to speak so darkly of the effect on society, but that is a matter of legitimate speculation. I myself think that if the House had not treated it seriously, it would have been very bad. The damage was limited because there was at least a partially appropriate institutional response. Also, I think you are right to underscore the hypocrisy of the "judge not" crowd when it comes to their issues.
